Our Neighborhood
 
Steinmetz Career & Leadership Academy (SCLA)l is located in the Mont Pleasant neighborhood which is in the south central part of the Schenectady and consists of 521 acres.  Mont Pleasant has more residents than any of the other residential neighborhoods.  

Institutional and community facilities serving the neighborhood include Hamilton Elementary School, Pleasant Valley Elementary School, Mont Pleasant Middle School and the Mont Pleasant Branch Library, Fire Station #3 (on Third Ave.), Stelmack Park, 10th and Webster Park, Orchard Park, Wallingford Park, Michigan Avenue Park, Quackenbush Park, Grout Park and the Mont Pleasant Athletic Field.
